16 digit limit?

Postby jimberlstein » Wed Mar 26, 2014 3:29 pm

Hey-
I am just getting started with python with some high school student helpers.
We made a prime number generating program, and then a prime factoring program.
I noticed that input numbers greater than 16 digits were truncated after the 16th digit.
Is there any way to change this, or is that just how it is.
Thanks,
Newbie Jim

Could you please post an example of this truncation (in code tags)?
