Python for Old MS-DOS or FreeDos

Postby cyberclops » Fri Jun 27, 2014 2:37 am

Does anyone have any experience running Python on MS-DOS based systems (no windows!)? I found PythonD which locked at Python 2.4. It seems to work pretty well, but I get an error when I try to use subprocess.Popen ... It gives me a traceback that indicates that some object does not have a fork attribute.

I need a way to execute a command from Python and capture the output. Any ideas out there?

Thanks,
