need help with coding on windows

hello, i'm a bit confused on how to start coding and running python programes on windows os. I mean just like u code and execute on visual studio for c# and family, is there any software that renders that kinda service fot python? Thanx in advance.

thanx for replying buh sincerely it all still seem to be over my head...can u just point me to a link where i can download a python interpreter or python studio for windows(if there's anything like that)

Here you can download python. From there if you dont know where to go, you need to read that. It walks you through this process.

You can download a python interpreter on the official python site.

As for an IDE(hat's what programs like Visual Studio are called), those aren't really used by most python users.
Most of us write code in a text editor(I use Sublime Text and Vim), and run programs from the terminal(cmd.exe on Windows).
If you wish, you could also configure many ext editors to run your code for you.

If you really want to use an IDE, I heard many people like PyCharm.
