So, after having a long think and a lot of asking, I've come to the conclusion that PyGame is not a good choice for game development, at least for what I want. PyGame makes you do a lot of the boring stuff all yourself. Maybe that's because it's based on SDL, which is what SDL is like. PyGlet, on the other hand, is AWESOME! But PyGlet isn't made for making games. It's perfectly capable of it, don't get me wrong, but there's a better choice out there, based on PyGlet, and it's called cocos2d. Now, Cocos2d is awesome. I've never used it for iOS, never used Cocos2d-x, never used any Cocos2d version other then the Python version. Now, I'm coming from LÖVE(and LibGDX, which I'm going to use for larger scale stuff and/or porting some games over to the Web and/or Android), which has a big community. Cocos2d for Python... doesn't. Fortunately, there is this forum! For LÖVE, there are a huge number of libraries, one of which is for Achievements! I couldn't find a library for Cocos2d that does this, after quite a lot of googling. So, do you know of one? Really all I need to it do would be exactly what this library does! It has achievement icons, unlockable achievements, when you unlock one it's scrolls in at the side, makes a little noise, and scrolls back, and it's REALLY SIMPLE TO USE!!
Also, if I were to post a game here, where would I post it? In Game Development? In Completed Scripts?
Thanks! Any help is appreciated!
