create executable package with source

Postby Kebap » Wed Oct 09, 2013 2:22 pm

Hi, I wonder how I can pass around my latest code to people who don't know/have python, for example on Windows. Also I want the code to be in source code, so it could be read/adjusted. So I think a good result would be to have maybe a "python.exe", a "myscript.py" and a "myscript.bat" who will do something like "python.exe -run myscript.py". However, Python needs to be installed, or is there a stand-alone version available? How would using libraries work?

py2exe seems interesting. They offer an option to include source coude modules, it seems. Will look into this, thanks!
