hell of a time instaling python

is there a simple way to install and program using python.

like i did for C# from microsoft.

I am having a terrible time , is there an IDE that i can install and start coding ?

shoulds i wait till later today when i install linux ?

linux already has python on it. Depending on the distro, it will have python2.x or python3.x as default. If you have linux, you have python (a version). Assuming you are not installing a fresh version of Arch or something.

So i am assuming you mean windows?

All you do is is run the .msi and it installs. Python on windows normally comes with an IDE called IDLE. If you want a different IDE you can download and use that instead. Of course you do not need an IDE at all, you can run it from windows command prompt too. Once installed though you can tweak it.

It would be easier to help you if you described this in detail more. What you did and how you did it, and the errors you got, etc.
