Moved metulburr's suggested game resources into their own locked, sticky topic in Game Development.
Also added the following note to the first post of this topic:

Hello,

Under resources for games And perhaps for someone wanting to build their oun version of Lmms, I ran across wavebender. The web site is http://zacharydenton.com/generate-audio-with-python/ and the download site id https://github.com/zacharydenton/wavebender. I am loading it up now, and will test for a couple of days. I'll get back as soon as I have an opinion. If anyone else would like to try and report at the same time, in combo we should be able to come up with a good set of good and bad items about the package, it's written in python 2.7 and I will convert it to 3.3 as part of the exercise.
One thing I noticed right off the bat is that ir seems to use all native libraries which should be good for speed.

Based on questions and looking at your list of links, noticed there is nothing related to networking, sockets, TCP, etc.

http://www.tutorialspoint.com/python/py ... orking.htm - tutorialspoint already listed - Yoriz.
http://pymotw.com/2/socket/tcp.html - pymotw already listed - Yoriz

I found these two site helpful for getting free PDF books, both offer numerous Python books.

Instead of linking any German ressources, I would link to the German community at http://www.python-forum.de which has been quite active for over 10 years now.
