So we experienced another couple of days without our forums around. Sorry about that, hope it will be better.

We may have lost a few days of posts, as the last forum backup had to be restored. These backups will now be more frequent.

In the meantime, here are a few information channels besides the forums, where you can gather info during downtimes:

* IRC (live chat), see my signature for details and join #python-forum on irc.freenode.net
* Reddit (web forum), this also eases time-asynchronus communication: http://www.reddit.com/r/PythonForum/

In other news: A direct google search for "python forum" yields this site (to me, at least) on page 5 now.

Thats why i put up a subreddit, because it drove me nuts to not be able to post. I hate all the down time this forum has had in the past year and a half

We were appearing as the first result in my searches yesterday. Tried again today and we are on page 3. =(
