Function syntax highlighting in pydev/eclipse

Postby sc25893 » Sun Jun 09, 2013 2:57 pm

Hi everyone,

I have taken a screenshot to demonstrate what I'm talking about here.

See my function at the top is green, but when I call it later in the script, it is not highlighted. I've tried a bunch of different themes and can't get the function to highlight on any of them, not even in the eclipse 'default'. This is ok now but when my scripts are much bigger, it's going to be a pain not being able to see easily where functions have been called.

I don't know whether this is a pydev/eclipse thing because xcode works just fine with my c++ scripts, highlights no problems.

Maybe there is a setting I have not seen but I've looked through all the menus and can't find where to do this. I am using EgoV2 theme. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

**edit**

I add another screenshot of the area which shows the functions should be in green:

That is normal behaviour for the definition of a function only to be coloured, pythons own ide idle does the same thing.
