SDL2 and the implications for pygame

Postby metulburr » Thu Aug 15, 2013 2:23 pm

I see pygame.org bothered to update their main site to include the notice of SDL2, but yet failed to fix new users registration :(

So what impact does it have on pygame? I see some interesting things that peope have complained about regarding pygame, "Full 3D hardware acceleration"
"Support for multiple windows"
etc.etc.

Does that mean someone is probably implementing it into a new version of pygame?

Well they are still constantly committing things to the repo, so people are working on Pygame even if it doesn't show.

No clue if anyone is working or plans to work on this or not. It would be nice.
