set temperature HEX color from normalized number

Postby ollin18 » Tue Aug 27, 2013 5:38 pm

Hello,
I want to get a temperature color HEX code from a normalized number being 0 the coldest (blue) and 1 the hottest (red). I absolutely have no idea of how to I do this...
Thanks

Could you give some example input and output? And you're more likely to get a response if you post an attempt at code, even if it's wrong, so that we can get a base idea for what you do and don't know.
Due to the reasons discussed here we will be moving to python-forum.io on October 1, 2016.
