python import in a builtin environment

Postby gmendieta » Tue Sep 24, 2013 8:57 am

Hi all:

Im starting programming some scripts inside Presagis Creator 4.2. This software has a builtin python environment. So, im not able to directly import modules as 'os' or 're'. My fix is something like:
import sys
sys.path.append("C:\\Python2.5\\Lib")
import os

and everything is ok, but im looking for a more elegant way of doing it. I guess i could modify PYTHONPATH system environment variable, but i wonder if i'd get into trouble because i have a couple of python versions intalled due to different programs

Any advice is ok, Thanks in advance!!
