UDP Frame

UDP Frame

Postby James_Parsons » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:57 pm

I want to make my own datagram packets for a networking library, however I am now doubting my ability to do so. When i see things on the internet, it looks like this
Code: Select all
s_port = /0xAA/0x2A
some complicated hex pattern, i was just planning to to do
Code: Select all
s_port = 65535
I don't know if this will work. I would also like to know how to use raw sockets to send my custom datagrans

What does the subject of your message have to do with the message itself? Why do you need raw socket? What do you mean by saying "When i see things on the internet"?
