Python and Image (lat/lon) Viewer

Postby FoCuSxx86 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 5:16 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to create an application for image processing. In particular, I have georeferenced images (latitude/longitude) and I want to display the coordinates when the cursor moves. On internet many people suggest to use QGIS, but I have many problems with it.
Other big issue: memory! Images are huge and Python crashes when I open them.

Please, help me!

Thanks in advance,
A.

]What is your OS: Linux, Mac OS X, Windows ?

There are many Python modules to do what you want, see http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/61862/visualize-shapefile-in-python/61868#61868 without QGIS which is a GIS application (Open Source)
