how do I upload folders to sharepoint using core python?
Is there any special modules that are readily available to start with sharepoint scripting?

I have tried giving import sharepoint, but it doesnt work for me..

Code: Select all
('/tmp/tmpCwEKGh', <httplib.HTTPMessage instance at 0x2aaaaf845710>)
>>> import sharepoint
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
ImportError: No module named sharepoint

Imagine we're all amazing Python coders who have never heard of Sharepoint and are too lazy to Google it to help you. How would you change your question?

Have you actually downloaded and installed the python sharepoint module? You can't just import it if it's not on your PC.

If anyone else cares: Sharepoint is a cloud based data sharing app from... MicroSoft. :( I feel so dirty.

If you read "Installation" from link in post over it should be clear.
Quick test.
First "pip install sharepoint" from command line.
Code: Select all
>>> import sharepoint
>>> sharepoint.__version__

I have "lxml" installed before, if you don't have "pip install lxml"
